Our “Churaskaia” grill will please every “good meat” amateur with delicious imported beef – chilled but not frozen – quality is our will!
Of course, local fresh products combine western taste with exotic dishes.

Our restaurant is open all year serving a la carte breakfast.
Opening hours: 7:30 am to 12pm.
In the high season, from 15 of October until 15 of April, the restaurant serves a la carte lunches and dinners from 7:30 am until 11 pm.
In the green season, from 1st of June until 15 of October, the restaurant serves a la carte dinners only, from 5 pm until 11 pm (closed on Tuesdays).
Exceptionally, from 15th of April until the 1st of June, the restaurant will only serve breakfast.

Our bar is open until 2 am

Let’s start with “Beef Carpaccio”, delicately served with an appropriate wine from our cellar. Enjoy a “Filet of Angus Tartar Locanda”, a “Ribeye Steak served with the Argentinian “Chimichuri” sauce or a “Grilled Red Snapper” – why not a Grilled Duck Breast?

Our chef will prepare the best of Thai cuisine to surprise you: our menu offers a wide range of Thai delights, from non spicy dishes to typical hot specialties. Our bar welcomes you at any time of the day and evening for a fresh cocktail, a sandwich or a glass of wine.

Enjoy tropical cocktails at our Open Air Bar until late with a friendly and warm ambience! At the Locanda Restaurant we will be pleased to take care of you for any special event such as your birthday party. Of course, we will serve a lovely dinner for Christmas and New Year’s Eve. You will be surprised at the great choice of wines from our impressive wine cellar.

ABOUT US

My family and I, Roger Schmid, are residing in Phuket since many years and we started the project Bougainvillea as a smaller version with 20 units in combination with a bakery in the year 1989.
Since that days, Bougain Villea has permanently increased in size and popularity. 35 air-conditioned apartments in various sizes, a big pool and our international restaurant will pamper you perfectly to make your vacation an unforgettable event.
Nowadays, the Bougainvillea Terrace House Resort is a well known landmark in Thailand for outstanding service, the cleanliness and features of the apartments, as well as the friendly and family orientated atmosphere. Visitors highly appreciate the fact that I and my family are always accessible as advisors and helping hands for any questions and problems that may occur, as well as for holiday planning and advise.
Our staff is well trained, speaks english and is supervised by Miss Malee, which is always there for you during working hours

You might have heard about the funny promotion idea of a Swiss guy who placed 800 plastic cows all over Switzerland.
We made a lucky catch and got one of those cows!
After this funny photo session, we attached the cow on top of our shuttle bus – you bet that we catch some looks and (of course) guests 🙂
